A Food Processing Plant and Warehouse

Working for an architectural firm, Lisa Crandall, PE, designed the structural steel, mezzanine structure (steel and concrete) and foundations for a food processing plant and distribution center that was 184,000 square feet.  The construction cost of the structural steel and concrete for this project was approximately $2,000,000.

Most of the communication between the architect and engineer was done electronically.  After an interview and an agreement was made between the parties, AutoCAD drawings were transmitted electronically.  Faxes accommodated field change orders and calculation pages.

For more information on designing a warehouse to fit your needs call Crandall Engineering.  If you are an architectural/engineering company and would like information how Crandall Engineering can be a service to your firm for structural design or analysis, please contact our office.
