Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Technologies Programs

Compiling information and setting up a schedule for preventive maintenance tasks may not be an impossible or difficult task, but many city utility organizations, businesses and schools have difficulty finding time for their maintenance crews to set up weekly, monthly, bi-monthly and yearly tasks and routes.  Crandall Engineering, Inc. can help set up a schedule of tasks for you using a manual tracking system or a CMS (computer monitoring system.)  In addition to maintenance activities, your facility may have some equipment that would warrant incorporating predictive technologies such as vibration analysis and infrared technologies to try to predict breakdowns before catastrophic failures.

Setting up a program may be done as one large project or done incrementally over a period of months.  The project will be set up to meet your individual needs and budget constraints.  The benefits your organization will see from the PM and PT programs are:

bullet Reduced lost production down time
bullet Fewer unscheduled down times
bullet Lower labor cost because scheduled down times are cheaper than unscheduled down time
bullet Lower material cost of repairs because of fewer catastrophic breaks in machinery components
