FEA (Finite Element Analysis) has become a well accepted and growing field for engineering analysis.  It can be used for many applications in the bulding industry.  Crandall Engineering Inc. has experience using many different commercial FEA software packages.  Some of those packages are RISA, ADINA, ANSYS, and NASTRAN.
